1Do your teabags contain plastic?
No. We use a simple stitch of organic cotton and a unique folding process — no polypropylene, no metal staples.
2What is your teabag paper made from?
A natural blend of abaca, wood pulps, and plant cellulose fibres — staple-free and stitched with organic cotton string.
3Why are teabags wrapped individually?
To keep every bag fresh. Once the box is open, each remaining teabag stays protected in its own recyclable envelope.
4Are your envelopes recyclable?
Yes. Our FSC-certified paper envelopes are BPA and PVC-free and can go straight into your paper recycling bin.
5How do you source your ingredients?
Our sourcing team works with organic farmers across 20+ countries. Every batch is tested for heavy metals, pesticides, and contaminants before use.
6How long should I brew my Kia tea?
Brew for 5–10 minutes in freshly boiled water. One teabag per mug (up to 250ml) is all you need.
7Why is licorice added to some blends?
Licorice is a natural sweetener, 50 times sweeter than sugar — it also soothes, calms, and helps balance the other herbs in the blend.
8What is the flavouring made from?
Organic essential oil granules derived from Non-GMO sunflower lecithin — natural, plant-based, and nothing else.
